Cloudline Press - Deployment

This document describes how to deploy, operate, and maintain the Cloudline Press reference implementation.

It is written for operators.

The goal is that a system administrator with basic Linux and Apache knowledge can deploy the system using this document alone.

Deployment Model

Cloudline Press is deployed as a static publishing system served by Apache.

All content is generated at build time.

Apache is responsible only for:

• serving static files
• enforcing HTTPS
• routing requests to the active edition

There is no application runtime.

System Assumptions

This reference implementation assumes:

• Linux server environment
• Apache 2.4
• Python 3 available system-wide
• filesystem-level deployment
• shell access for operators

No containerization is required.

No database is required.
